Harry is a journalist, media professional, and community manager. She was a Correspondent at The News Now, a newspaper in Jammu and Kashmir, after having worked as a Content Writer at Jammu Links News. Prior to that, she has interned with Dainik Jagran Jammu and Doordarshan Jammu.
She’s a member of Public Relations Society of India, Jammu Chapter, and Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association.
She has completed her Post Graduation in Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University. She also has earned her Post Graduation Diploma in English Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu (All India Rank 4, North Region Rank 2), and her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi.
She is fueled by her passion for working towards what matters to every human, that is, human rights. She has the vision to document atleast some of the human rights abuses from the vast ocean.
She considers herself a ‘forever student,’ eager to build on her academic foundations in journalism, mass communication, and related fields. She tries to stay in tune with the latest digital innovations, meant to support and enhance her work.
She has a hunger for knowledge, but unlike many, she is determined to turn information into action.
